Boys/Girls AAA Hockey

Ages
This program is suitable for boys and girls players, aged 7 years to high school, that have at least 1 year of organized hockey under their belt.
When
The tryouts will take place yearly towards the end of August, with the season starting the following April. We take a couple months off in the summer and typically wrap up our season mid to late September.
Games
Each team will have 4 games in the Spring and 4 games in the Summer. Some of our teams will have games scheduled in the MASH League.
Jerseys
Jerseys and socks are provided within the registration cost. Please look for the jersey sizing/number form during the registration process. If you were a returning player and feel like you do not need to order a new jersey, you will receive $100 discount at registration.
Where
The majority of the practices will take place in Lakeville, with a few exceptions, which will take place in a nearby rink (Prior Lake, Burnsville, etc.)
Practices
Practices will take place 2-3 times per week. Most of the practices will take place during the week. Also, we try to limit our weekend practices to Sunday night during the summer.
Tournaments
We have changed the way that we are handling tournaments for the 2026 season. In the past, we have only had families pay for the tournaments that they could attend. Due to a multitude of issues, typically surrounding families not paying for tournaments before they play in them or pulling out of tournaments last second, we have decided to wrap tournament cost and hours into the overall player fee. This is never what we originally intended to do, but the money collection has been such an issue that we feel this is the correct way to handle tournaments going forward.

44 hours of ice which includes:
-28 hours of practice ice (The program will run from early April to Mid-May. Then we take a break and pick up the last week or two in July and run through most of September.)
-8+ scrimmages (4 in the spring and 4 in the summer). We do our best to schedule scrimmages, but this is somewhat depended upon other program's availability.
-1 Spring Tournament and 1 Summer Tournament. (8+ Games for Each Team)
-Home and Away Jerseys.
-Home and Away Socks.
-1st right of refusal for all Thunder Skating and Skills camps.

*2018 team will not be doing tournaments, due to lack of tournaments at that age level (registration price for this team will be $700).
